Mock the Flock 2008 Shop Award!

The results are finally in - and it was a close run thing, but in the end we have our winner and it is Venus on Eastgate!
The shop recently moved from Mercer Row to its new premises. Owner Diane Raisbeck has put a great deal of work
to make the shop look as brilliant as it does, with a whole cornucopia of ethnic goodies and clothing, as well as jewellery
and the newly opened therapy rooms in the back offering past life regression, angelic reiki, tarot readings and much 
more. The shop front at Venus is always bright, colourful and slightly zany. So a big congratulations to Diane for winning
the very first Mock the Flock Shop Award!

As for the loser, well unfortunately it had to go to the arcade on  Eastgate which most thought was a blot on the 
landscape and added nothing to Louth's high street - particularly as its in a prominent position near the market. Must 
do better!
